Self-taught photographer Tomaas was based in New York for the past 18 years and now works and lives in Paris. Never officially studying photography at college, he yet creates visionary, cinematic however realistic fashion and beauty imagery, earning him an ever expanding number of international publications in major magazines including Vogue Italia, W Magazine, VS, Marie Claire etc.
Inspired by representative artists of the surrealist era, such as Salvador Dali and Giorgio de Chirico, he uses deep, rich and saturated colors to capture moments where dream and reality unite. Just like Amelie of Montmartre, he is gifted to observe all the irregular little details other people seem to oversee, creating images with an edgy, dramatic, but subtle style.
