Sruli Recht is a Reykjavik based Designer and Artist who studied fashion design in Melbourne and has worked with British designer Alexander McQueen in London. The ‘Forget me Knot’ ring is probably one of the most painful ideas to design a jewelry. It was created with a 110×10 mm strip of skin surgically removed from his belly that was in turn salted, tanned and then mounted on a 24 carat gold band. The art piece can now be purchased for €350,000. For more information visit www.srulirecht.com.
