Back in 1963 nobody would have thought that Lawrence Herbert’s color identification system would become such a popular scheme used throughout the entire merchandising palette available today. From Pantone mugs, cushions, shirts, even sneakers and whatsoever, there is nothing you can’t get without a Pantone Label on top of it. The most eye-catching Pantone trend comes from Monaco Restaurant Group, which has opened a vibrant bistro á la Pantone Café on the shores of the French Riviera. While it has just recently closed, we are waiting for its opening up next season, serving a variety of color-coded sandwiches, salads, snacks and drinks. From the facade to the chairs, food trays and napkins, to the shirts worn and the coffee machine used, everything matches the Pantone theme, bearing its respective codes all over. This pop-up shop located on Monaco’s waterfront Grimaldi Forum is definitely worth an Instagramm shot on your account. For more check out Monaco Restaurant Group and Pantone Cafe.
