Remember when we posted about China’s art restaurant Bibo – a fusion of classic French gastronomy with modern street art located at the Upper District of Hong Kong? Here you go with another super revolutionary dining concept that offers an exciting art gallery with DJ-designed soundtracks, and perfectly prepared food and drink, sat on the ground floor of the W Montréal in Canada. Blurring the lines between acclaimed eatery and avant garde gallery, Être Avec Toi – in short „é.a.t.“ – is the result of a collaboration between W Montréal, BPC, MASSIVart, Sid Lee Architecture, and Ivanhoé Cambridge. Transforming an 11-year-old restaurant into a complete blank space, collaborators set about to create ê.a.t, a venue to enjoy vernissage and fine dine at the same time. ê.a.t.’s art program features murals, paintings, sculptures and installations by a variety of artists, many from Montréal’s cultural scene. Styles range from street art to contemporary, and the restaurant houses a dense gallery space and collaborative murals. It’s as the name „Étre Avec Toi“ – to be with you – implies, a one-of-a-kind venue to share quality time with others. For more check out their website www.etreavectoi.com.
